The one bit of advice I can ever give someone who wants to save money is to subscribe to emails by as many companies as you like to buy from...and then a few more. You just never know when you're going to find a great discount code.
For example: this morning I got an email from Lane Bryant discount code that gives you $100 off of a purchase of $200. Even for a place like Lane Bryant, whose clothes are bit more expensive, with the discount code it makes it a great deal. I can get a pair of shoes, 3 shirts and a pair of jeans for about $115, including shipping. That averages out to $20 each....great!!
