Kroger Cartbuster Savings Event 2-27 to 3-12

Kroger
Who doesn't love Kroger? I sure do. There is not one in my home town but I make a point to get to get to the closest one to me at least once a month. I will especially try to get there numerous times over the next 2 weeks. Kroger is having what they are calling "Cartbuster Savings Event". It starts Feb 27th and lasts 14 days, until March 12th. Every day they will be sharing special deals on their Facebook page so be sure to check it out each and every day for the awesome upcoming deals.

If you are already a regular Kroger customer you know all about the way you can save with them but if you are not, listen up. The first thing you need to do is sign up for a Kroger loyalty card, which is free, before you shop. If you can get this card before you go shopping, that would be even better because you can load coupons onto your loyalty card, which is a fantastic way to save even more. You can look right now to find hundreds of dollars in savings from a couple different spots you can load coupons from including Shortcuts.com, cellfire.com and Kroger.com. To add even more savings, check out your Sunday paper for coupons every week (the store I go to Sunday Coupon Preview to see what's coming this week), not to mention all the coupons you can find on Coupons.com to print out on your computer.

Most Kroger stores also double your manufacturer's coupons up to $.50 and triple them up to $.39. My store will do this on 3 like items only so make sure you ask before you start shopping. Any coupons you load on your loyalty are face value and not doubled or tripled though. Some Kroger stores will double up to a dollar and don't have limits on how many items you can use like coupons on. When I say like coupons what I mean is, for example, 3 coupons for Kraft salad dressing, $.50 each, will double to $1. If you use a 4th $.50 Kraft salad dressing coupon it will only be worth $.50 and not doubled to $1.

Take your time too, when you are walking around Kroger because a lot of times I will find unadvertised sales. So, if you are using coupons, bring them all with you. You just never know what you might find.

So, as I said, Kroger is not as close as I wish it was but I will making a point of going at least a couple of times over the next couple of weeks, after I upload and print off some coupons. Oh yeah, don't forget to check out the Kroger website for the weekly circular. That way you can take your coupons and apply to items that are already on sale. You can really score big savings then, which is what I do!

Some more info:
  • Each Deal of the Day is available through the end of the event (while supplies last)
